The installation has been placed in the workshop area of the event, close to the area where yoga sessions where scheduled. So we briefly discussed with the yoga teacher to announce a version of Cannabis Yoga, by associating yoga routines to the cannabis terpenes used for the olfactory experience of 50 Shades of Green. Of corse, we are talking about the amazing cannabis terpenes provided by Cali Terpenes, technical partner and friend of the project, and award winning producer of the best cannabis terpenes in Europe. #thankyoucali
Back to cannabis and yoga – the idea behind yoga with cannabis terpenes is pretty simple, and works pretty much like yoga with aromatherapy: match dynamic asanas and active routines while experiencing sativa terpenes that stimulate active moods, and experience yoga routines more related with inner work and static asanas with indica terpenes, that induce deep relaxation.
I was very excited about the new “holistic” spin for the artwork and the unexpected interaction with yoga, so I called a couple of friends who are into daily yoga routines, and invited them to try yoga with cannabis terpenes. Unfortunately, the yoga workshops were canceled for unknown reasons – but my friends showed up anyway, and decided to give terpenes yoga a try on their own.
Check out the few pictures below, with my friend Caroline striking a few yoga poses in the 50 Shades of Green tunnel while enjoying the terpenes environment of the Sativa day, while my friend Rachele, who came on the Indica terpenes day opted out for a deep meditation session, surrounded by cannabis colors and scents. I loved it, and I know Caroline and Rachele loved it too.
