French Burners

French Burners is the official organization of people in France that are interested in and inspired by Burning Man. It was created in 2006 by the French regional contacts to organize public events inspired by the philosophies of Burning Man, to help French burners participate in Burning Man events abroad, and to provide information about Burning Man to the media and public at large.

We have over 200 official members, and over 9000 people subscribed to the French Burner mailing list. French Burners host regular Burning Cafés, where new burners can find out more about the playa, and experienced burners can meet and discuss their projects and camps.

Every year, French Burners organize Burning Night Paris, which had its 12th edition in 2013. Burning Night celebrates the philosophies of Burning Man during a night in Paris full of music, art, and performances entirely run by volunteers, that attracts burners from all over Europe, as well as from the United States and the rest of the world.
