Yesterday I published a live DJ set that is tied to one of my saddest memories in DJing, but good thing I also have good ones. Like the day that I decided to explore the entire production of Suara Music, a Barcelona-based independent label that is, as they say on their website, “all about music and cats”. As a matter of fact, all the releases artwork of Suara feature a cat, some of them pretty wild – I love it! (Yes, I love cats too). Suara Music is run by Coyu, one of my favorite artists, often featured as producer or remixer on the tracks I play in my mixes and DJ sets – sooner or later I’ll remix one of his tracks, promised! I love the Suara sound, so I decided to pay a tribute to the Barcelona label by playing a full DJset mixing only Suara Music releases. And of course the cover I created for the mix is also pretty “inspired” by Suara records’ artwork. Enjoy! Meuw!
